Garage progress Saturday 05/31/2014

After it rains the garage pad still pools some water. It evaporates in a day or two. We have all the permits, the re-bar is on it's way and the plumbers are coming Tuesday to relocate the septic drain field from under the garage pad to the back yard. I got permission to start digging the footers. The one across the back is 40ft long, it took about 2 hours on Friday to dig. The second one is 80ft long along the property line. I was going to stop when I got to the existing septic drain field lines, but never ran into them. I guess they are deeper than my trenches. I was 4 hours on the tractor and now both of my knees are sun-burnt on the tops. Things are going to start happening fast now.
