7/12/2014 - Super Moon

Leroy, one of my laborers, was in need of some furniture to replace what he lost in a house fire. I let him poke through what we had over at Mom's house and offered to help him haul it to storage. I hooked the trailer up to the new truck, replaced one of the tires with a spare, tightened and greased a wheel bearing and connected a broken brake wire.

After working on the trailer the July 'Super Moon' started coming up so I tried to get some good shots. I got out Mom's Meade telescope and was getting some good views of the moon. I decided to try to get a shot through the eye piece with the camera and got lucky. The last shot on the page was taken by me hovering over the little hole in the eye piece with the camera. Lucky shot!
