7/27/2014 - Starting to look like a garage.

We finished installing the front panels on Friday afternoon. I spent a couple of hours removing the brass drain covers and cleaning the concrete and sealer from them. I also met with an electrician to get a quote for the electrical work. I returned the door I had bought for the bathroom because the rough opening was too narrow. Now that I think about it we're going to enlarge the opening. I spent a couple of hours cleaning out the 2 car garage. We had had a big rain the other day and there were multiple small boxes on the floor that had gotten soaked. I swept out the water and Crepe Myrtle flowers, consolidated all of the many leftover screws, sorted out tools and moved some stuff to the new garage.

Saturday I picked up a hot water heater and spent some time sweeping and re-arranging piles of wood inside the garage. I also got out the push mower and cleaned up the yard inside the fence where I can't get the tractor into. I also cut back some shoots that were around the base of one of the trees next to the driveway. I emptied a box of downspouts that was sitting along the side of the parking area by the house and moved them into the new garage. I loaded the cardboard into the truck for the dump.

Sunday I assembled one of the shelves I had bought almost 6 weeks ago for the garage.
