8/5/2014 - Bathroom sheetrock, French Drain work,

Now that rough ins have been inspected it was time to button up the bathroom. Brandon and Leroy worked to finish insulating and install the green board in the bathroom. While they were doing that I jumped on the tractor and cut a ditch to lay the 6" drain pipe for the french drain.

Bobby's crew was there trying to figure out how to get the 2x8 forms out of 3 inches of concrete. They tried seperating the wood from the driveway to no avail. All they managed to do was beat the hell out of my crowbar and bend some form pins. They wound up having to chip out the floor of the drain with an electric chipping hammer to get the boards loose. Once they finally got the forms out they went to work dressing the bottom of the drain.

Leroy sent me out to get a flex hose for the Fart Fan so the could finish insulating the ceiling. I also got some KILZ to paint the sheetrock and a vanity mirror. Leroy complained because I didn't get one that matched the wood on the vanity. It's a bathroom in a garage, who's really gonna notice?

Brandon stayed for a couple of beers and after he left I pressured washed the parking area just outside the attached garage to prep it for sealer in the morning.
