8/30/2014 - Change shutters.

After mounting all of the shutters I realized that when open I would lose two feet of wall space on both sides of each window. My solution was to re-hinge the shutters so that they fold in the middle and only open to one side. This actually worked out pretty well. I put the barrel bolts so that they hold the center closed and can be used as a handle.

I then painted to window side of each shutter the same dark gray as the welding area walls. When the shutters are closed, you can't see anything inside the windows. The insides were painted the same as the wall color.

When I went to use the gallon of white paint I figured it needed to be shaken. I grabbed the can and started shaking when all of a sudden I realized that the last person to use the can hadn't hammered the lid down (thanks Brandon) and I was sloshing white paint all over the place.

Now I remember why I hate painting. You can't paint without getting it on everything no matter how careful you are.
