Thanks Andy & Ann-Marie
I purchased this bike from Andy Lane to help him stay married. Ann-Marie said "Get that thing out of the garage."
It didn't run the day I went to pick it up on Super-bowl Sunday, so I borrowed Gary's trailer and hauled it back to the shop on Monday. I diddled around trying to get it started without any luck. Fortunately I had stopped by BMS when returning the trailer and picked up a set of plugs. After replacing the plugs, she fired right up. The starter clutch is in need of repair, but if you are patient she starts. The brakes were very soft and barely slowed the thing down. Doug helped me bleed them out. The rear master cylinder was bone dry. After bleeding all three calipers they were still very weak, but would stop the bike. I removed the lines that link the brakes to an anti-dive system on the front forks and now the brakes work fairly well. A set of new pads and some clean-up and I think she'll be road worthy again.
Here are some pictures I took on Valentines day.
